AppleSkin, recovers the cores and peels from the apple processing industry. The manufacturing process includes blending the dried fruit skins that would typically be thrown away with polyurethane and dyes or pigments. This mixture is then coated onto a backing which could be polyester or cotton and finished with a waterproof coating.
